DEPTH EMERGENCE

A depth psychology approach to individuation

Depth Emergence: dive into your depth.

Depth Emergence is a term coined by Denise Maratos, PhD. It stems from Depth Psychology, which emphasizes the study of the individuation process - the achievement of becoming the whole Self by integrating the conscious and the unconscious. It seeks to discover the hidden parts of human experience by examining the unconscious. Depth Emergence seeks to bring the unconscious into awareness in order to understand, evolve, and transform.

Integrative therapy draws upon depth psychology, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and humanistic therapy. It may also involve other types of therapy depending on individual needs.
